The Croft is a small B&B situated in a secluded area of Selkirk just beside the Common. You can use our private entrance to the common to take your dog for a walk, visit the Pot Loch to see the ducks and swans or just enjoy the views of the nearby hills.
There are two bedrooms which are each available as single, double, twin or family rooms. Both rooms have central heating, radio, hairdryer, TV/DVD and tea and coffee-making facilities.
The breakfast/sitting room has patio doors leading to an outdoor seating area with a natural waterfall, pond and garden furniture.
In the morning breakfast is served in this room and in the evening it can be used as a cosy sitting room with a log fire, TV, books and games.
Selkirk is situated in the centre of the Scottish Borders, just off the A7. It stands high above the Ettrick and Yarrow Valleys, which contain some of the most glorious scenery in the Scottish Borders, including St. Mary’s Loch, southern Scotland’s largest stretch of water.
The Croft is ideally suited for walkers and is on the route of the Borders, Abbeys Way, the Southern Upland Way and St Cuthbert’s Way.
It is within easy reach of the Border towns of Melrose, Galashiels, Jedburgh, Hawick, Kelso, St Boswells and Peebles. Edinburgh is an hour away by car and is served by a regular bus service from Selkirk.
