One of the best located holiday cottages with a sea view, we are nestled by the beach, overlooking Glenelg Bay, where guests will enjoy stunning Highland vistas “over the sea to Skye” and beyond to the South West, towards the sound of Sleat and the islands of Rhum and Eigg.
The warm, energy efficient, architect-designed property, of exceptional standard, has solid wooden floors, lots of natural light and many unique features including beamed ceilings. Perfect for couples, the self-catering cottage accommodation comprises of one large upstairs bedroom with cathedral ceiling, en suite wc/whb, an elegant double bed and ample storage. Downstairs is for living and dining, this features a cosy seating area with double sofa and arm chair. A modern discrete kitchen and a dining table which gives everything needed for eating and relaxing on holiday, whilst enjoying the superb constantly changing sea view across Glenelg Bay to the Isle of Skye through the large picture windows.
On the ground floor there is a tiled shower room and a utility room/porch with underfloor heating which also forms the private entrance and is accessed directly from the covered sun deck which has table and chairs for two. The decking can also be accessed from the living area through a sliding patio door. Ample storage is provided by drawer units, built-in wardrobe and cupboard. The Lodge is fully central heated.
